Tasbih care

Four simple habits that keep your tasbih shining for years.

Tap a card to see why

Out of the sunKeep it out of the sun, at room temperature.

Why? Sun and heat fade the colour and dry out natural materials over time. A drawer or its box in a normal room is enough.

12Perfume first, tasbih afterKeep it away from water, perfume and creams; put it on after them, not before.

Why? Water, oils and alcohol dull the beads and weaken the string. Put on your perfume or cream, let it dry, then pick up your tasbih.

Soft, dry clothWipe it with a soft, dry cloth.

Why? It brings back the shine without scratches. Avoid cleaners and wet wipes.

By the beads, not the stringHold it by the beads, not by the string or the tassel.

Why? The string and tassel are the weakest parts; pulling on them again and again loosens and then breaks them.
